Hindu Youth Camp 2009
Thinking about which Summer Camp to send your kids to? Would you like them to learn about Hindu culture and values, the fundamentals of Hinduism, prayers, Hindu festivals, arts and crafts, yoga and Indian musical instruments in a fun and friendly atmosphere?
Join us for our week long Hindu Youth Camp in the beautiful India Springs State Park near Atlanta this summer. The camp is for children 5 to 15 years of age and will be guided by Siddheshvari Devi Ji.

Your child will enjoy the following in the camp: 1. Fun-filled celebration of Hindu festivals 2. Chance to learn how to play Harmonium, Indian drum and cymbals 3. Games that are played in India, such as Cricket, Pitthu, Kho-Kho, and Kabaddi 4. Arts and Crafts 5. Basics of Hindi language 6. Nagar Sankeertan 7. Learning what it means to be a Hindu 8. Learning Prayers and Bhajans 9. Yoga Postures & Breathing Exercises 10. Participation in a cultural program 11. Friendship of fellow children with similar values 12. Guidance of loving and caring volunteer teachers
Accompanying parents can participate in bhajan sessions, yoga, and question-answer sessions with Didi Ji.
Admission : $200/child, $300/2 or more children from same family ($50 early registration discount upto May 31st)
